At The Peffly Ranch we love to explore and find exciting pieces of history and what we consider treasure. In order to promote excitement and adventure, we offer seeded treasure hunting. Take a map with clues and a compass to guide you and set out on a treasure hunt. Seeded treasure hunts are based on age/difficulty and the rewards/treasures are more valuable based on difficulty and likelihood of finding the treasure. The hunts are timed and ages are only a recommendation, any age can do any level.

Easy (ages 5-8) 30 min- Guaranteed success - Treasure valued at $5

Medium (ages 9-13) 1 hour- Success likely - Treasure valued at $10

Hard (ages 14 and up) 1 hour- Success not likely - Treasure valued at $50

Almost Impossible - 2 hours- Extreme treasure hunters only - Treasure valued at $100

In addition, feel free to explore for the native treasure that is on our land. The old home site and surrounding area has artifacts dating back to the 1890's and potentially older. We have also found sites with artifacts all throughout The Peffly Ranch. The stills by the creeks and other random locations have offered some neat pieces of history for our land. You are welcome at any time to find and keep whatever artifacts you stumble across, we just ask that you let us photograph and record your findings.
