Our mission is to share God's love in His creation, serving our guests by providing enjoyable experiences in a loving, safe, and God-honoring environment, using all that God has blessed us with to build relationships and opportunities that open the door for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. ​

OUR STORY
Our family had always dreamed of owning a larger piece of property, so naturally I was searching off and on for years. Suddenly we stumbled upon the perfect piece of God's creation. I went out immediately to explore and see what this property had to offer and quickly realized that this was it! It was perfect and affordable! A large portion of the property was getting clear cut to sell off the lumber, which made it hard to visualize an eventual home and recreation site, but this made it affordable for us. The property featured rolling hills, steep valleys, creeks, waterfalls, quartz and sparkling mica everywhere, and an overall mountainous feel. I was hooked and knew this was it! I brought the family and we hiked the entire property and the dream came alive. We purchased the property in 2017 and have been enjoying and working it ever since.
Working The Land
After we purchased the land we also purchased a small home and additional 5 acres that set us up temporarily and allowed us to live on site while we prepared the land and built our forever home. This home and land now serves as the entrance to our property as well as home to our relatives. For six years we have worked the land to clear the home site, range, and trails as well as continued to maintain them and add to them. During this time we also built a wonderful little primitive cabin in the woods by one of the creeks. In 2022 we purchased and built a small home on site and have thoroughly enjoyed being out in the midst of our hard work. A tremendous amount of effort and time have gone into getting The Peffly Ranch to the point that it is and this effort will for sure continue as we expand our offerings and work to add new activities and areas to enjoy.

Meet The Peffly Ranch crew!
Paul Peffly - Owner and Activity Host at The Peffly Ranch. Paul has been married since 2005 to his wonderful wife Christy and they have two boys ages 16 and 9. He is a faithful follower of Christ and serves with children and youth ministries at Faith Baptist Church Youngsville and is will be part of planting a new church in Franklinton, Faith Franklinton. Paul loves the outdoors, exploring, and a wide range of hobbies and projects. He has a heart for kids and youth ministries and loves to pour into their lives through teaching biblical truths and building relationships. He is driven by his attention to detail and meeting goals as well as driving things to completion in the most efficient way. Paul has experience and is knowledgeable in many areas to include engineering, nature identification, audio/video and home theater, mechanics, machinery, financial planning and budgeting, wood working, Biblical truths and salvation, kids, guns, archery, any many other areas. In his professional life Paul is an Engineer. He is degreed as a mechanical engineer and has worked in many capacities as a mechanical, systems, and project engineer. Paul has experience designing systems and components and leading technical teams for critical Navy and Air Force programs. Paul is also an Air Force veteran and served as a B-52 crew chief in Minot, ND.

Christy Peffly - Director and Activity Host at The Peffly Ranch. Christy has been married to Paul for 19 years. She has been home with the boys since becoming a Mama in 2008 and has been homeschooling them for most of their lives. Christy is a devoted Christian and has served in many capacities with her church to include children's and preschool ministries. She loves relaxing outdoors and teaching and playing with children. Children are her passion and she has devoted the majority of her life to raising, loving, and teaching our children as well as using her passion as a way to serve others. Her Christ-centered beliefs allow her to teach and share the love of Christ with all. Christy has experience in many areas including professional photography, graphic design, cooking, the Bible, teaching, learning, and many other areas.

Tyler Peffly - Activity Host at The Peffly Ranch. Tyler is the big brother and teenager extraordinaire. He loves the Lord and serves as a care group leader at church and is dedicated to doing his part in all things. Tyler enjoys the outdoors, adventure and exploration, riding dirt bikes, shooting, camping, and many other things. He is a dedicated hard worker and is skilled in many areas.

Jacob Peffly - Child and Activity Participant at The Peffly Ranch. Jacob the little man has the biggest energy. He is dedicated to having fun with family and friends and snuggling Mama. Jacob enjoys playing anything and everything, the outdoors, riding, camping, swinging, and many other things.
